Hi everybody,
Here is my first impression on the Garnier Micellar cleansing water. This product has been released in the 2014 in the Netherlands however I have only noticed this product lately. Maybe this is because of all the commercials on the TV lately. It seems that these types of cleansing waters are being hyped up in 2015 and that all drugstore brands are trying to replicate the Bio Derma cleansing water. It’s a pity I have never had the opportunity to try that product so I can’t compare this product to the Bio Derma. Anyway here is my first impression on this product. I purchased this product on offer from the Drugstore Etos for €3.00 (300 ml) which is a great price for this product. I have seen this product for the cost of €6.49. .
So here is a list of the ingredients. (The only product that rings a bell is water. I have no Idea what the rest of the products do)
Ingredients
- Water
- Hexylene glycol
- Glycerine
- Disodium cocoamphyodiatetate
- Disodium EDTA
- Poloxamer 184
- Polyaminopropyl biguanide
So let’s get started with this first, first impression. I have been wearing a full face of make-up today. So I am hoping this product will get rid of my make-up easily without tugging on my face.

Firstly I started with soaking a cotton pad, with the cleansing water. I sniff the cotton pad, curious to find out if it smells harsh. To my surprise I don’t smell anything ( which is good). It does say that on the packaging no perfume. (Silly me)

Then it’s time for the right side of my face. For this side I use my trusty Etos Facial wipes. Compared to this product it does not do a bad job. It does take a lot more tugging on the face and takes a little less make-up off.

Afterwards I go back with the Garnier cleansing water. At first glance I can see there is not a lot of make-up left on the pad.

When I go back to the right side of my face with the Garnier water I see there is a lot more product to be seen on the pad.

Overal thoughts on this product
I would rate this product 3.5 out of 5.0 . This product does a good job of taking of the make-up from the face it feels nice and cooling. Also the price is a little of putting. Furthermore I expected that this product would get rid of my Make-up even better than it did.
I hope you enjoyed my First first impression and tell me if you have tried this product. If you liked this blog please like this blog.
