Thumbs March Favorites

Thumbs March Favorites

Hi everybody ,dear readers and loyal subbies,

March flew by and it is already April . And the good news is that spring seems to be peaking through. Come on Spring don’t fail me now! Can’t wait for the warm weather and the good times to come. On another side note it means that since March has flown by it is time for some Favorites. This months Favorites contain a selection of some beauty, body and lifestyle faves. Enjoy!

Combination Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in 053 Sorbet and Rimmel Vinyl Gloss- Ever since the first rays of sunshine started to peak thru,I have been loving a fresh bright lip. Loving the combination of a balmy lip and making it shiny with a little bit of gloss.

Combination Loreal True Match Concealer and Benefit Erase Paste- This combination gives me the best under eye coverage ans gets rid of my blue under eye circles.

Kiko Metal Fusion Blush in 0-4 A beautiful bright pink shimmery blush. It looks quite daunting in the pan but looks lively on your face. Again very fresh looking for spring!

Rituals-The Ritual of Ayurveda Nurturing Shower Oil- This shower gel smells of roses and almonds. Once used your whole bathroom will smell like this. Pure heaven! Also after use your skin will feel silky smooth.

Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte Shampoo and Conditioner Erosian Level 1/2- I am not a hair expert. To be quite frank , my hair is more a disaster than perfectly styled. But I must say that since I was recommended to use this hairline that it has helped my fragile hair so much. My hair looks more healthy and seems to have a bit more body to it. To be honest I regret not purchasing the products for level 3/4 erosian .

4 Day Vienna Trip -What can I say about this city trip it was glorious. Curious about this trip or what I brought to Vienna hit those links. 4 Days, 3 Nights in Baroque Vienna &Beauty and Body Stuff I am bringing to Viena,

What have you all been loving for the Month March? Feel free to leave a comment and share your recommendation.

Until next post friends!

Thumbs March Favorites

Thumbs March Favorites

Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies,

Welcome back for another Thumbs favorite!. After nearly 2 weeks radio silence I am back. I don’t know what was going on. Maybe the transition from winter weather to spring. I just felt so tired, blah. Anyhow I feel a lot more rejuvenated and as it is the end of the month, I wanted to share some favorites for the month of March.

  • Etos Blush in 005 Wild Sunset. This is a highly pigmented coraly  blush from the drugstore Etos. It give such a nice glow to the cheeks
  • Sudo Creme. I really had a bad rash on my stomach area and this helped reduce it a lot.
  • Anastasia brow definer.  Such a good brow product. It makes my brows look so good and  polished. How does Anastasia do it?
  • Kiko Campus Idol face brush . I really needed a good powder brush and this brush which I got from my sister does the job.  It is lovely dense , soft and covers the face quickly. Also the price for the brush is really good for the quality you get. I believe we paid 13 euros because it was on offer.

I hope you all liked this very short March favorites. For my last favorite click here.  Until the next post. Have a good one guys.

Etos Face haul + first impression

Etos Face haul + first impression

Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies,

It is haul time!!  I have not hauled in a long time! And today is all dedicated to Etos face products. Lately I have noticed that Etos is re-branding a lot of their own in-store items.   They have done so much on their packaging and styling. So about two weeks ago, I could not resist picking these items up because on first impression these items felt gorgeous.

  • Etos Blush in 005 Wild Sunset
  • Etos Contour in 001 Light/ Medium
  • Etos Bronzer in 001 Light Medium
  • Etos Highlighter in 001 Gold

These items are very soft to the touch. So buttery soft. The pigmentation on all  are good except the highlighter. Also the the highlighter is very powdery and goes on patchy.  So the crucial thing is, would I repurchase> Or get the blushes in the different colors ? Yes! I would most definitely! I am very Pleased with these items!  Let me know if you would like me to try some more of their products. Maybe lips?

Thank you all again for dropping by and as always feel free to leave a comment. Or follow me via the wordpress follow button or BlogLovin button. Until next post

Makeup Revolution Hot Spice (First Impression)

Makeup Revolution Hot Spice (First Impression)

Hi dear readers and loyal subbies.

Last Saturday I was welcomed by a little  surprise in my mailbox (a.k.a.the filing trays in my flat )  I was so curious about Makeup Revolution, so I decided to purchase two items.  Blush and Bronzer are one of my favorite  make up products, so therefor I decided to purchase two pallets!  The Hot Spice blush palette  and the All about Bronze palette. But today my complete focus is on the Hot Spice blush palette. This palette retails  for € 7.99.

The product comes in a very nice sleek cardboard box. It was however, a great pain to remove the actual product. from the bos. The product casing is plastic and very compact slim. It does leave finger prints on the casing easily.  Once you open the palette you are welcomed , by six blushes and a very nice mirror.

The blushes range from cool corals and pinks, to warm corals and pinks. On both rows on the right hand side,   there is a highlighter blush to be found.  My first impressions of the blusher are that they go on sort of chalky and don’t feel silky / buttery. Also I find the pigmentation isn’t the best. I do find that the first two blushes from the top and bottom row, have the best colour pay off.

If I had to choose I prefer the bottom row because of the  colour pay off.

My overall thoughts on this palette are the following:

  • Sleek design
  • Big mirror
  • 6 Blushes for € 7.99

  • Pigmentation lacking
  • Chalky application

Looking at these comments, I am quite curious how the bronzer palette will apply.  My thoughts on this palette are semi divided. Its not super bad but its not wowing me yet. I do have to say, I have not seen  these blushes on my face y So I need to try it some more before, I make up my mind about this product. Also I am still very intrigued by their Eye palettes. So I am not giving up on this brand yet.

So leaving you with these swatches I am curious what your thoughts are on this palette? Please leave recommendations of products to try from Make Up Revolutions.

Swatches bottom row. Swatches from left to right.
