My first Charlotte Tilbury Haul

My first Charlotte Tilbury Haul

Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies,

It has been quite some time since I posted, due to life craziness catching up on me. Maybe I will share some of that craziness on a later date.

Anyhow as the title suggests, I had my first encounter with Charlotte Tilbury make-up.

For quite a few years I have been lusting to try some products and some weeks ago, my sis and I ventured into the Bijenkorf to the Charlotte Tilbury counter. Prior to going there, I knew I would not leave the store without spending some money.

Firstly they market the products so Well. Lovely gold, lush and clean packaging. Amazing displayes of their lipsticks, blushes foundation and skin care were surounding me on my left and right side. And we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff.

Due to the miracle of YouTube, I could not resist trying out the legendary pillow talk lip liner and lipstick. After trying this I could not resist putting this in my shopping cart.

The lipstick and liner gildes on ever so smoothly. And eventhough a Matt finish not drying on the lips.

My 3rd item I opted for was the colour chameleon in Amber Haze. This is such a beautiful one stop product. Just swoosh on the lids and under the eyes and you have a stunning look.

After a further browse I got persuaded into buying the limited Magical mini brush set. The case is so feminine with the rose gold and sparkles. A great little gift to give for Christmas and useful for travel . The set contains the following:

  1. Blusher Brush
  2. Eye Blender Brush
  3. Lipstick Brush
  4. Eye Smudger Brush

I have not yet had the opportunity to try everything to the fullest, but can confirm I enjoyed the lipstick and liner. My next purchase might be the lipstick Glaston Berry. A beautiful Berry colour.

Thank you for taking your time spent reading my stories on the internet and have a lovely week

Until next time friends!

Thumbs March Favorites

Thumbs March Favorites

Hi everybody ,dear readers and loyal subbies,

March flew by and it is already April . And the good news is that spring seems to be peaking through. Come on Spring don’t fail me now! Can’t wait for the warm weather and the good times to come. On another side note it means that since March has flown by it is time for some Favorites. This months Favorites contain a selection of some beauty, body and lifestyle faves. Enjoy!

Combination Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in 053 Sorbet and Rimmel Vinyl Gloss- Ever since the first rays of sunshine started to peak thru,I have been loving a fresh bright lip. Loving the combination of a balmy lip and making it shiny with a little bit of gloss.

Combination Loreal True Match Concealer and Benefit Erase Paste- This combination gives me the best under eye coverage ans gets rid of my blue under eye circles.

Kiko Metal Fusion Blush in 0-4 A beautiful bright pink shimmery blush. It looks quite daunting in the pan but looks lively on your face. Again very fresh looking for spring!

Rituals-The Ritual of Ayurveda Nurturing Shower Oil- This shower gel smells of roses and almonds. Once used your whole bathroom will smell like this. Pure heaven! Also after use your skin will feel silky smooth.

Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte Shampoo and Conditioner Erosian Level 1/2- I am not a hair expert. To be quite frank , my hair is more a disaster than perfectly styled. But I must say that since I was recommended to use this hairline that it has helped my fragile hair so much. My hair looks more healthy and seems to have a bit more body to it. To be honest I regret not purchasing the products for level 3/4 erosian .

4 Day Vienna Trip -What can I say about this city trip it was glorious. Curious about this trip or what I brought to Vienna hit those links. 4 Days, 3 Nights in Baroque Vienna &Beauty and Body Stuff I am bringing to Viena,

What I got for my birthday

What I got for my birthday

Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies,

Finally I am going to share what I got for my birthday.  Wieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I just love reading and seeing these sort of blogs/ videos,  therefor I wanted to post this one. I really had a good day and felt really spoiled. If you want to read what I did for my birthday click here.

Let the sharing started!

Avanca Wireless Headset– I just love this gift. I love listening to music whether I am commuting, working or going to the gym. Because I listen to music a lot, it is important too me to have a good quality and functional headset.  Also I noticed the one I had was getting a little tired. So I thought lets put this on my wishlist. And I got it!

The reason that I wanted a wireless headset was that I did not want any wires running in front of me. With the wired headset I usually would pull my headset out  of my ears when I was rowing. Very annoying. These headsets just feel so lightweight and they look quite fashionable in my opinion and they have a good sound quality to them.

Hunkemoller giftcards – Hunkemoller is one of the biggest chains in the Netherlands to buy bra’s and as I am in need to get some new ones, this is very greatly appreciated. Is it just me, but buying bra’s is quite expensive. The woes of being a woman.

MAC Experience – This was so much fun!! My sis got me this present. So for an hour the MAC makeup artist did my face. She started with some questions such as skin type what I liked etc. Also this deal included I could get € 60 worth of product. Which is pretty sweet! This is such great gift and a great way to try out products.

Amazon gift cards– Who does not like a Amazon gift card. You can choose whatever you like. I am still contemplating what to get. But I am sure I will figure it out any time soon. Or I will just collect these cards and then do a combined splurge.

Necklace and Bracelets – I already showed this one in a previous post. I got a 0pretty necklace and bracelets from my friend J!  Want to read about this post click here.

Stationary plus matching post- its– This is a very useful pressie.  I can use this one to write some thank you notes. And the post its are very useful to leave some reminder notes. Such as must take out garbage !!  I love the prints on the stationary very pretty.

I hope you all liked this post and thank you for reading. As always feel free to leave a comment!  Until next post friends!

A second ode to a MAC lipstick Faux

A second ode to a MAC lipstick Faux

Hi dear readers and loyal subbies,

I decided I needed to write another ode about a Mac Lipstick. This time its time for Mac Faux. Another fave from 2015. Yep so very true, that this post got posted about 2 weeks ago but  have  to say I have been having some bad luck with the posting times.  Anyhow enough small talk and lets get worshiping this lippy.

I seem to be a big sucker for nude lippy colors. Ironically all in the same color family. I would describe the color as a pinky brownish color. However somehow it can look different on other lips. The lipstick has a Satin finish . Again this lippy glides  on effortlessly  and has a heavenly smell . Could the smell be macadamia? As the lipstick actually smells like the Nivea lip balm. This lipstick does not leave my lips dry, which in winter time is like a kiss from heaven.

Even though I have written an Ode to a Mac lipstick before, I hope it was not to boring. Interested in  part 1 of  An ode to a Mac lipstick? Click here.  As usual if you like post like these, feel fee to subscribe or leave a comment.

Until next post.

A tiny, tiny Mac Haul

A tiny, tiny Mac Haul

Hi dear readers and loyal subbies,

Saturday  I popped in the Douglas,  and was immediately  drawn to the MAC counter.  I just love looking at the lipsticks and blushes at the MAC counter. In the end I left the Douglas with a lipstick, lipgloss and  pro longwear concealer. So let me show you my goodies.

So the first thing I  picked up was MAC syrup. My sister bought this lipstick about 2 months ago and I really like how it looks on her. So therefor I could no longer resist not having this in my collection. Its a beautify pink /light raspberry color and very appropriate for Autumn. It glides on my lips easily and has the lovely MAC smell to it.

For my second purchase I chose the Vamplify lipgloss in Anything but demure. This is a new limited edition highly pigmented gloss from MAC. The font that Mac used for this packaging is great and looks very Vampire-ish. Yes yes I know that is not a word but I am sure your feeling me here.  Usually I am not a big fan of a lipgloss, but I wanted to know what the hype was for. So I tried two colours and thought that this one looked the best on my lips.  Again this color is great for the Autumn and a lovely nude to add to my collection. And just one last thing, the smell of this lipstick smells like glorious cake, so yummy.

For my last choice I opted for the Mac Pro Longwear concealer in NC25.  Now I have been on the hunt for a descent, high end concealer for sometime, and I thought yesterday why not. Recently I have been suffering from some spots and dark circles and I just wanted to have a descent concealer removing all that bad stuff. Also  I wanted some help from the make-up artist choosing the right shade for my skin tone as I did not want to go to light.I do have to admit the reason why I purchased this concealer is because I heard a lot of good things on You Tube. Once the  make up artist applied the concealer beneath my eye to hide my blueness it looked so much better. I could really see the difference between one side and the other. It looked like I had descent night sleep for once.

Even though this is/ was  a tiny post I hope you all liked it.  For my last post click here and if you want please subsribe to or follow me via Bloglovin. Until next time readers. Toodles!
