Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies,
Today’s post contains a small selection of my favorites of the month of April. Surprisingly there was also an un- favorite in there, which might be a shock for some.
Lifestyle
Letter Board – I was looking for something affordable to hang on my wall and when I came across this Board from Xenos I could not help picking it up. I really enjoy, that you can create your own inspiring quotes on them. Currently I have the quote ” Comfort is the enemy of progress”.
Kittens – So excited about this one. Eventhough I don’t have my kitties yet, I could not resist writing about them. During the Pentecost holidays I will be getting my 2 baby kittens. I am pretty sure that they will be in my May favorites. but I could not resist not mentioning them. I will disclose the kittens names soon!
Yellow Imitation flowers. These fake flowers I picked up in the Xenos. And they radiate spring. It just gives such happy feeling in the house.
Beauty
Douglas day Mask – Leaves my face soft and nour ished after use . This was such a lifesaver after I fell ill during Easter. During this period my face felt so dry because of dehydration. This mask has a unique texture due to its foamy consistency. You leave it on your face for 15 minutes and remove it with a tonic or water. Et Voila your skin feels silky smooth.
Douglas Home Spa Soap in Polynesian Dream
I have mentioned the shower gel of this line before and this hand soap smells like a dream too. You just keep on smelling your hands all day.
Unfavorites
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara – The reason why I am bashing on this cult favorite, is because the majority of time after wearing this mascara I end up looking like a panda bear. Either it looks flaky or I have smudges all over. I am so glad that I only have a mini version of this mascara as it did not work out for me.
