Thumbs April favorites and unfavorites

Hi Friends,

It is nearly the end of the month and it is time for sharing my faves and unfaves for the month of April. Compared to last month I am enjoying a lot of things. Unfortunately I had to add 2 un-favorites for this month but we will come to that towards the end of this post. Lets get started shall we?

Favorites

Big hoop earrings – I bought these earrings myself and I love them. They just give that lil bit extra to your look.

Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter- This highlighter makes my skin so glowy and gives my make up such a lovely finish. I do admit that sometimes I have used a little bit too much, but hey it is my face!

Rimmel 9-in 1 BB cream- When you feel like you don’t want to wear a lot of make up and you just want some coverage, this is the thing to use. Plus it has some spf to it so good for the protection against the sun.

Carmen HD2390 Hairdryer- Eventhough this hairdryer was not that expensive it has some power to it. It dries my hair really quickly and it has a nice diffuser with it. Eventhough I am still lacking the skills using this diffuser properly I love it.

Nike running shoes – Wow these shoes are so comfortable. They feel really light and it is like walking on air with these shoes. I just love the pink Nikce logo. Hmm might ask a second pair in black and white for my birhtday.

MAC Mehr – I love this color and it feels so comfortable in the lips and I get compliments when wearing this color which is always nice. It is not too much it is just right.

Restaurant Mandarijn – They just serve glorious food here. It is very affordable and the service is really nice. Last time for my mothers birthday I ordered the crab dish and it was delicious. Just hard to get in ggegeeg

Un-favorite

Max Factor Voluptuous False Lash Effect Mascara – This mascara is trying to kill me by poking my eyeball out! I just find it very uncomfortable working with this mascara. .

Breaking up. After nearly five years my boyfriend and I decided to break up. Eventhough this hurts, currently it is the best thing to do for me. And as people say there are many fish in the sea. I will just keep on doing the things that make me happy!

Thumbs February Favorites

Hi everybody, dear reader and loyal subbies,

It is the end of the month, and therefore it is time for a favorites post. So let me share with you all what I have been enjoying for the month of February .

Beauty

MAC Velvet Teddy. Yes this has been my go to lippie for the month. It looks so pretty on the lips with a lot of make up looks and outfits.
Soap and Glory Thick & Fast Mascara. Nice and lengthening Mascara and great improvement compared to the disastrous Etos mascara’s. This saved my eye lashes when I had no descent mascara in my draws.
Mac Face and Body Foundation. Just a nice foundation to wear when you feel like you need a little bit coverage but you don’t want something light weigth.

Body

Soap and Glory the Scrub of my Life. Such a nice scrub for the body and this foams up so nicely in the shower.
Soap and Glory Heal Genius. To be honest my feet have been looking like crap lately and this foot cream has hugely improved the status of my feet.
Sanicure oil intense. Just lovely moisturizing on the body and very clean smelling as to be expected from Sanicur.

Food

Vietnamese spring Rolls.

So tasty! Yet so healthy! The perfect combination. You can make so many tasty combinations, fish, vegetables probably even meat. I have not tried that yet. If you want to see a post on the rolls , leave a comment.

The Voice UK

I have been hung up on Gossip girl and I just have to see the Voice UK every Saturday. My personal fave Kevin Simm and Rachel Ann. Will be rooting for them.

Thumbs September favourites and one unfavourite

Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies.

Today I am back with my favourites for the month of September. I must confess I did not have a lot of favourites, but in my opinion the favourites I had were worth it.

Rimmel Moisture renew lipstick in 180 vintage pink.This is a lovely pink/purple colour. This lipstick glides on so easily and is very moisturizing. The only thing I am not a big fan of is the floral scent.

MAC Faux lipstick. I am still showing a lot off love for this lipstick. Again a pink toned lipstick I can’t help it. The formulation is so lovely and creamy and my lips feel so good when wearing this lipstick.

Pupa baby doll blush in 105. I am really surprised that I have not heard a lot about this blush or brand. This blush is so pigmented and creamy/buttery . The colour I use is a mauve colour and just looks beautiful on the skin. Also I give a huge Thumbs up for the packaging such a cute compact and it has a tiny mirror.

Victor & Rolf Bon Bon perfume. As we were changing seasons I just grabbed my Victor&Rolf again. It just a lovely , sexy smell maybe a little heavy wearing during the day but I don’t care!

Sanex Dermo Natural wheat germ oil& Vitamin E shower gel. I have sensitive skin and I usually keep my shower gels very neutral. This shower gel is very clean smelling and it is jus an alternative to the regular soapy smells Sanex offers. Which FYI I do love

Unfavourite

Nivea shower body moisuriser in honey. I thought this product would be brilliant, No more using a moisuriser after the shower but no. I feel disappointed with this product. When using this in the shower, it does not feel like it smoothed or nourished my skin. Also it did not smell like honey. To me it smelled chemically. So definitely no repurchase for me.

June and July favourites and an unfavourite

Hi dear readers and loyal subbies,

Today I am finally sharing some favourites with you again. Give a big whoop for that one! I already gave a similar excuse for the June and July empties , so I will not go into any excuses. This post will contain a lot of random faves, like make up, films, series, and a You Tuber. So if this intrigues you, please continue reading.

Make-up

Maybeline Colour Tatoo in Rose Gold. This pink is really nice. I would not say its really at true rose gold. But I really like using this for my everyday, go to make up look. Its very easy, you swipe it on your lid and your good to go. Especially if you are like me and need to be out of the door in like 10-15 min. Don’t we all love that snooz button in the morning. Check out the colour on this swatch below.

Rimmel Provocalips in colour unknown? I just can’t find a number or a name for that colour. I definitely want to purchase some more of these Provocalips I have been using this lip product nearly every working day. Its a lovely pink mauve colour and does not have that Rimmel smell to it ,which makes me not want to buy the Kate Moss lippies. It also looks like you are wearing a lip liner and I do admit this product stays put longer than regular lippies do.This product gives great colour pay off and is highly pigmented.

Skincare

Garnier Micellair water. I love this product now and I was so wrong about the pricing.I thought this product would be finished really quickly. And this was not the case. It takes of more dirt and Make-up off than facial wipes. This product feels great on the skin and reduces/ prevents those little white heads on the chin.

Body

Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner. This smell so lovely and softens your skin in the shower. I would love to repurchase this product, but it is expensive. I believe it cost 31 euros for the big container. As an occasional treat I would buy this however its not in my budget to repurchase this every time. Read here when I got this as a gift.. But let me tell you all ,this product will be mine, O yess it wil be mine.

Film/ Series

Felt a lot of love for cartoons these last months call me juvenile.

The emperors new Groove. Eventhough its a couple of years old, this Disney film is really funny.
Orange is the New Black season 3. I watched season 3 in 2-3 days. It was sooooo good. I loved the story line of this season. I especially love the Character Crazy Eyes.
The Gabby Douglas Story. This film is really inspirational and is based on a true story about US gymnast Gaby Douglass and her journey to the London 2012 Olympics. I especially love the families moto ”Today should always be better than yesterday”.

You Tuber

Melissa Autry. She always make smile even when I am not. And she always gets me excited for the weekend because she has her Friday Favourites and a possible poo videos. She does Beauty videos and Vlogs . I just find she has a great sense of humor . So if you are curious about her, check her channel out! Linked here

Food

Orzo. I just love eating this pasta.It is very tiny pasta and it sort of looks like rice. It makes a great cold pasta salad with Peppers, tomatoes and Feta or cottage cheese. Very delicious for the summer. If you want I could do a post on that one. So leave a comment if you are interested.

Unfavourite

Essence Make me Brow gel. Urggggg . I am not loving it. It goes on like you smearing poop on your brows, I am just sorry to be so nasty in my description . But girls. I am going to walk away from this product. Or better say: Run Forest Run!

Maybe its bad,ending with an unfavourite, but it is what folks say: ” always start with positive things”.
