Thumbs March Favorites

Hi everybody ,dear readers and loyal subbies,

March flew by and it is already April . And the good news is that spring seems to be peaking through. Come on Spring don’t fail me now! Can’t wait for the warm weather and the good times to come. On another side note it means that since March has flown by it is time for some Favorites. This months Favorites contain a selection of some beauty, body and lifestyle faves. Enjoy!

Makeup

Combination Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in 053 Sorbet and Rimmel Vinyl Gloss- Ever since the first rays of sunshine started to peak thru,I have been loving a fresh bright lip. Loving the combination of a balmy lip and making it shiny with a little bit of gloss.

Combination Loreal True Match Concealer and Benefit Erase Paste- This combination gives me the best under eye coverage ans gets rid of my blue under eye circles.

Kiko Metal Fusion Blush in 0-4 A beautiful bright pink shimmery blush. It looks quite daunting in the pan but looks lively on your face. Again very fresh looking for spring!

Body

20180415_1858041629903659.jpg

Rituals-The Ritual of Ayurveda Nurturing Shower Oil- This shower gel smells of roses and almonds. Once used your whole bathroom will smell like this. Pure heaven! Also after use your skin will feel silky smooth.

Hair

Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte Shampoo and Conditioner Erosian Level 1/2- I am not a hair expert. To be quite frank , my hair is more a disaster than perfectly styled. But I must say that since I was recommended to use this hairline that it has helped my fragile hair so much. My hair looks more healthy and seems to have a bit more body to it. To be honest I regret not purchasing the products for level 3/4 erosian .

I am already day dreaming about walking around Schönbrunn and its gardens, visit the Prater Ferris Wheel, The Stephans Dome the city centre the art museum and check out the beautiful architecture. Thumbs February Favorites

Thumbs February Favorites

Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies,

March just arrived and I have some February  favorites to share with you all.  Today’s post consists out of a little Home Ware, Lifestyle and Beauty.  So if you cannot contain your curiosity continue on reading!

Ikea Cupboard Flysta- I love this cupboard! I purchased one for in my bathroom and one for in my kitchen. It has offered me so much space to store stuff and especially the one in the bathroom looks very aesthetically pleasing too me.

Ikea Sinlig Candle in Vanilla-I love to buy a candle on occasion and one of my favorites scents is Vanilla.  So of course when I was browsing for candles in the Ikea I picked up the scent Vanilla. It smells so good when you walk in the room when the candle is lit up  and it smells of Vanilla goodness !

L’Oreal  Color Riche lipstick in 297 in Red Passion –  Lately I am getting more into wearing more bold lip colors and this has been a fave. The only thing with this one I really need to line my lip otherwise this one will slightly bleed out of the lip line.

Film The Greatest Showman **

The Greatest Showman Soundtrack ** Favorite songs This is me, Never Enough and Rewrite the Stars.

Ikea Champagne Flutes in Konungslig- I know these Champagne Flutes look a bit ostentatious. But hey that is me, a little bit O.T.T! Yet they are so nice and they fit in my interior. I just love the pink glass and the way these glasses have been molded Very Organic.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my favorites for the Month of February. As always feel free to leave a comment and leave a like.  And if you have not spotted  it already, I have joined the Instagram Family! To be honest also a favorite for the month of February! So if you want you, you can give me a little follow @thumbelinaslifestyle.

But enough rambling and until next post friends!

Inspiring person

Ending on a bit of sad note, but for me the most inspiring person of 2017 was a little boy who’s name was Tijn. This boy put others before himself eventhough he was terminally ill.

Tijn raised over 2.5 million euros through painting nails for a fundraiser from Serious Request. And later another 1.2 million euros with his own line of nail polishes.

This boy just showed me how we all should be a little bit less selfish in life and start carring about others regardless of your own situation

I really felt so sad when I heard he passed away last July because of his illness. As a Dutch singer song writer wrote” you are a hero!”.

Writing about my most inspiring person for 2017 concludes my 2017 favorites!

Curious about my list of unfavorites for 2017? Please let me know! As I am intending to write a post about this one

As always feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts.

Until next post friends!

Thumbs May Favorites

Thumbs May Favorites

Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies,

May flew by due to all the fun activities that were in it. I only worked 2 days in May and then I flew to Bali, celebrated my birthday and returned to work all refreshed at the end of May.   All in all it was awesome!  What made it more awesome were the favorites during this month. Let me start sharing them.

Bali– I am sorry to write about Bali again,  but this was my absolute favorite for the Month of May. It was so relaxing and beautiful. The people were so nice, the food was lovely, the hotel was awesome, just awesome and I never experienced walking into the sea that was lovely and warm. Yep it is officially I am going back this year and will discover some more awesome places and sites. If you are curious about my trip to Bali, feel free to click on this link.

Birthday – Yes I cannot believe I turned 30! 30!  Even though I did not celebrate this in a big way this one does deserve an honorable mention. Believe it or not I have learned a lot this last year, and all I know what I really want is to take care of myself and be happy .It might sound very selfish but I want to be able to make myself happy and not rely on others to feed my self worth. I hope to write soon a blog post about what I did and what I got for my birthday

Coloring book  – To entertain myself during I bought a coloring book. Not that I needed much entertaining by the way!  But usually during the afternoons I would just color some items on a page. Even now I am reaching out to my coloring book. It does feel somehow very relaxing during the evenings to unwind.

Sophie Kinsela’s new novel My not so perfect life – I am a huge fan of Sophie Kinsela’s books. They contain a lot of humor and they are just an easy read.  If you have not read this book I highly recommend it.

Glam Glow Thirsty Mud – Yes this product is so worth the hype . I used it as a mask and it hydrates the skin so beautifully. This product is a lifesaver on the plane. I believe that is why my skin survived the 14 hr flight so well to Bali.

Loreal Paris Infallible Lip Paint Lacquer in 101 Gone with the Nude – It is a lovely nude liquid lipstick, which goes very well with MAC Velvet teddy lipstick in my opinion. I love how easy it is to apply to your lips.  Partially this is due to the applicator.  I would say application is more easier than a regular lipstick. The only thing which I am not to keen about is the smell of this lacquer  it is very floral.

Thirteen Reasons Why -Even though this series talks about a heavy topic I believe it is worth while to see or even read the book. It makes you really think about the consequences of  how your deeds and words can impact someones life.

Dresses– Yeeh I was able to wear dresses again during the month of May. Overall the month of May was warm. It is just a nice feeling tot get your legs out there and not have them feel all tied up and claustrophobic during this nice warm weather.

I hope that the month of May gave you also multiple favorites and that you had as much fun as I did during that month! If you did, please feel free to leave a comment letting us all know what your favorites were or if you had an awesome month as I did.

Until next post friends,

Kim

Etos Haul

Etos Haul

Hi everybody, dear readers and loyal subbies,

Yet again another haul. For this haul I opted for some oldies but goodies. In this haul there is a mascara that I have not used for a long long time and which I used to love . I just cannot recollect why I ever stopped using this mascara. Because I can remember that my lashes used to look fabulous with this mascara. Ermmm don’t mind the conceited  tone,  but to be honest I just liked the look of my lashes with this one. Curious about this haul? Keep on reading!

L’oreal Double Extension Waterproof mascara- I used to wear this mascara every day. Great length and no fall out!

Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara –A new mascara for me! This mascara should make the lashes darker within 2 weeks and give you fuller eyelashes.

Etos Cleansing Wipes for normal to combination skin –25 Pcs of cleansing wipes. Smell indeed very fresh as the name suggest. Hmm this can go either very well or the perfume is too much

Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow Professional Makeup  This product contains 4 brow powders, 2 tinted brow waxes,  eyeybrow arch enhancing cream, highlighter ,an eyebrow pencil,2 brushes and a mini tweezer

Etos Contour & Highlight Brush

Etos Blending Brush

This haul was mainly focused on the eyes. From going back to a familiar friend to trying out new stuff. Hopefully these will become  all faithful friends. I hope to do  reviews on these products soon. If you liked this post please like, subscribe or follow me via BlogLovin or Twitter. Until next post friends!
